If you can stream it on your phone, you should be able to play it on the Play 1. If you can't stream it on your phone than you gotta first figure that out. If you ripped CDs to your iTunes, I believe it can be streamed through iTunes family share / ITunes Match...

I always find the silicon cases a bit hard to take in and out of pockets. They cling to fabric much more than say leather or hard plastic cases. They're great for shock absorption in drops, but the pockets thing makes it a non-starter for me.

I would contact a Apple support and have them walk you through troubleshooting steps. I imagine it's going involve restoring your iPhone at least one so remember to backup!!

Yah Android for the time being lacks consistency. You never know what you're gonna get in the next iteration of hardware and how that will sit with the new OS update. Now that Google has a more vertically integrated home-grown phone maybe it'll get better.

Main reason is consistency. Every upgrade cycle is different but staying with Apple to me means that there are core features that are consistently getting better. - Camera - Battery Life Consistency - OS optimization On other platforms it's kind of a crap-shoot every time...for now.
