I've now tried the download/install 3 times. The first time, it was 1.1g. It went through the download and installation process. On reboot, no update to 8 (but, I lost few mb to a gig). Next 2 attempt, the download was 920 mb. Again, download/installed; still running 7. WTH, Apple? Anyone...

It looks like I accidentally turned it on while showing a friend the Control Center. Fingers are crossed for my usual battery life.

No major improvement seen. Seems about the same.

I would also like to have to option to have all text messages time stamped. As it is, I have no idea when texts came in, except for the few random date/time stamps.

I want to be able to have all my pics from iPhoto synced. Nice to have, but no loss without - ability to select amount of vibes instead of the phone vibing with each ring.

I guess Apple Store it is (I got the 4S on the 14th). Thanks. The phone does not show anything. I plugged it in via USB earlier and nothing happened (kept it in for about 40 min) and nothing happened (and, I had charged it at 8pm last night). And, I think it should flash a low battery pic...

So, I woke up to a dead phone. It's not battery related, as it had at least a 90% charge. Having to go to the store and replace it sux! Question is - do I go to Verizon, where I purchased, or the Apple Store?

I think I found a few glitches with iOS 5. I tried to remove one of my created ringtones by deleting it from the ringtones folder in iTunes, syncing then adding it back to iTunes and sync, but it won't go away (now I have two copies). Also, iPhoto isn't syncing my entire library - just have the...

I think it might have been a 3g issue. I have a similar problem with my BB. Battery pull, turning on Mobile Network didn't help. I had to do a network re-registration to get it back on. I think it's a network issue - second time it's happened since I'd had this phone for the past 5 or so months.
