It's weird, coz when I Google for "NY Times Apple watch app" I get some hits. The app even appeared on a "best apps list for 2020" https://www.igeeksblog.com/best-apple-watch-news-apps/ I suppose it could've been removed/no longer available, which would be a bummer.

Yep, I'm moving from my 8+ to the XR. I wasn't planning on it but the Product Red XR caught my eye, and when I checked my upgrade eligibility for giggles, I found out I can upgrade now without affecting my monthly payment. That sealed the deal, it was an easy "why not?" for me.
