So do I. Both platforms do well in this day and age. But in resource intense tasks, last year's iPhone X does better than note 9, it's going to be even better with A12 chip.

Re: wireless fast charging question I’ve been using Samsung fast charger since day one on my X. It's supposed to provide up to 15W but  limited iPhone X at 7.5w. iPhone XS Max is supposed to charge faster out of the box, 10W I think.

Just got this recently, really like it. It’s a 10000 mAh battery pack with built in wireless charging. Also has two fast usb charging ports for wired charging. Pretty thin and light for 10,000mAh capacity.

Re: Got the Note 8 for my work phone. Yup my wife doesn't like it when my bubbles are green. Plus, having young kids, we exchange pictures and FHD videos, works flawlessly on iOS but Android compresses the heck out of videos so much that they're pixelated, that's if you get lucky sending one.

I use Google WiFi mesh router, works flawlessly. My internet speed is 300 mbps from ISP, exactly what I get with both Ethernet and Wifi ( on my iPhone X Verizon model). Asus had also been very reliable but range wasnt as good as Google WiFi

What brand of wifi router are you using, I've learned over the years that makes a difference too.
