Are you upgrading to the next iPhone?

Probably not for the currently 'revealed' upgrades. I currently have an iPhone 4 and will wait to see what the next iPhone looks like before I go with a 4S or the new one. Like some others here, I have accessories which would require replacement. I really like my LifeProof case and can't see...

Element Case Joule Chroma give away! Enter now!

Any color's good with me. I just like the minimalist, elegant design. Bill

Will the iPhone 4 be recalled?

I've had iPhones since the first one. I've not owned a 3GS. I now own the iPhone 4. I do experience the signal drop phenomenon on the meter in weak signal areas and have had to ask folks to wait, while I repositioned my hand on the phone. My experience with my phone is that the Bumper Case...

TiPb Give-Away: $150 SCOTTeVEST Gift Certificate (iPad Give-Away Qualifier)

I currently have an old but still kicking microfiber Scott-E-Vest but would really like a new waterproof Quantum model to carry my new iPad as I travel to wetter climates. Thanks, Bill

Will you purchase the next iPhone?

BA, Yes, I'll be buying one. My Generation 1 is getting a bit long in the tooth and 3G has finally come to my hometown. I'd like more business/road warrior functionality. Maybe it'll be there..... Bill

Why Can't I Have iWork for iPhone?

All, True enough about the virtual keyboard. It's good for texting but not so good for emails. I'm still carrying my Palm TX with its folding keyboard for email responses and I do have a Treo Pro as well. I happen to use Excel and Word on the road and have spreadsheets I've developed that...

Why Can't I Have iWork for iPhone?

All, The highly touted Mac OS Mobile would seem to be able to support some form of iWork. Heck WM users get at least a rudimentary version of Word, Excel, and Power Point. It would seem that Apple could give us iWork. Just give me iWork, ToDo, and Cut and Paste and I'll be happy. If the...

For anyone sharing a iPhone sim with another phone...

BA, After trying the SIM in my iPhone for a day, I can report the following: 1. The iPhone functions just fine for email, web viewing, texting and phone functions. :) 2. The iPhone does not alert you, when a voice mail arrives by showing a number on the iPhone's voice mail button and you...

For anyone sharing a iPhone sim with another phone...

BA, Probably is the BB plan. It handles data and email differently going through the RIM system. I had a BB and liked it but sold it when I got my iPhone. Thus I never experienced the cross platform issues you're dealing with. I'll probably be upgrading to a 3G iPhone soon. Some APPS are...

For anyone sharing a iPhone sim with another phone...

BA, As promised, I swapped my SIM back into my iPhone and will be using it for the next few days. I'll see how it works and let you know. I have a PDA plan with unlimited texting and data. My iPhone is a 2G that I've had for about a year. Best, Bill

For anyone sharing a iPhone sim with another phone...

BA, I switch back and forth between my Treo Pro (3G) and my 1st Gen iPhone (Edge) with no apparent problems. I did get a stray text message every time I get a voice mail, when using the TP while subscribed to the iPhone plans on AT&T. I'm currently using my Treo Pro and have subscribed to the...

    All I wanted for Christmas.....

This year's MacWorld was not very encouraging for business iPhone users. iPhone is a gaming and entertainment console that you can use for sms and as a phone. I had hopes it would grow beyond that. How many "f--ting" simulators do we need.....

I HAVE RETURNED... to the iPhone 3G! - Round Robin!

I agree with Jennifer: I downloaded Skyfire to my Treo Pro and, frankly, it works better than Safari on my iPhone. I may be migrating back to my Treo Pro as my daily driver . My $0.02, Bill

    All I wanted for Christmas.....

Well I supposed I'll hang in there for a bit more. WEBIS bringing out an iPhone version of their Pocket Informant. It sounds like iWork may be coming for iPhone as a Web app. I'd still like to have an external BT keyboard..... Maybe next Christmas.... Bill
