did the update to ios 8.4 after the install and still ipod?

i have just picked up a new 5S as my old one fell down the toilet :-(. after i set it up and turned it on, i found i had no Contacts app andcould not send text messages. when i set up find my IPHONE the phone shows up as a IPOD. no idea what i have done any help would be appreciated

i am having troubles setting up photos to automatically up load to Box, they up load to Dropbox without problem. my only problem is that i have 50GB storage on Box but only 3GB on DropBox so any help would be appreciated

well i have been dissapointed with my battery life. i went out for a bike ride today and used Endomondo gps tracker and my phone actually died after 3 hours 38 minutes. Which dissapointed me lots as i was told how good the battery life was
