The album artwork is displayed while in the Now Playing view but it is very blurry and darked. You can make out the artwork but I believe Apple purposely does this so the driver is less distracted while they are driving.

Your saying that the gold edition model comes in all different color sport bands. That is incorrect. You can optionally purchase separate band colors yourself and "mix and match" bands yourself. But Apple doesn't sell a gold model with a blue sports band already pre combined. Apple only sells 38...

look at the picture again..there is the gold with the white sports band all the way at the end. And again the glass display at the Apple Store has ALL 38 possible different combinations of the watches. That includes different band options and different materials. There are 38 total in the glass...

That could very well be true. But I just think that the empty spots are purposely placed in between the various collections. Knowing how Apple is all about design and everything looking perfect it just looks odd that their are sometimes 1 gap between watches and some gaps are 2 full empty slots...

The glass display in the picture has EVERY model, including the gold with the white sports band and there were still a bunch of empty spots. And I don't believe they'll do a hardware refresh every year, but I do think they will add "different styles". Remember this isn't a tech product that...

It's space black* for the stainless steal models. Space gray is for the aluminum sports model.

I just realized that the empty slots match if they where to eventually do a space black stainless steal model with a matching band for it in the Apple Watch collection. Because right now you can only get the silver stainless steal with most of the bands.
