i talked to her last night, she has 3g which i beleive can be jailbroken with the 3.1.2.

you can always put it in DFU mode first, or you can just let the battery drain... turn on a movie for like 50 hours then let it fully die and then reboot the firmware.. i think

operating system its the 3.1.2 or the 2.1.1 uhhh like the latest is 3.1.3. and thats why this forum was made for ignorant people (as in not knowing, no negative connotation meant at all). uhh if you have a windows with teamviewer then i could help a bit better email me...

Firstly what do they mean? (mc?[i heard someone on youtube say it]) and why is the jailbreak so difficult on them? and it is to my understanding that the 8 gb is NOT a G3? because the processors not updated?

You should have the old firmware still in your computer, put into recovery mode and click shift(on your keyboard) + restore(on itunes) (i believe[maybe ctrl and click] ) and find the old firmware file then restore off of there. Good luck!

no it is not appstore is a lock app you wont be able to just take them because of the account strictness however, if you have a friend who installed something (ie TTR2) then you can take thier account and install it for free, then sign out of it and it is fine... just wondering... is that not...

definitely not if you want to unjailbreak, you will have to downgrade itunes via megaupload or something, then you need to download your old firmware(which is probably already in your computer) okay steps downgrade itunes. (or you have one in your computer) download a older one via...
