Waiting for iPhone 6/6+ pre-order pajama party!

That is not what the representatives are telling me on the phone. Where did you here this? Don't play with our early adopter emotions. What do you know, and how do you know it?

Waiting for iPhone 6/6+ pre-order pajama party!

That won't help. The other carriers are even more evil, if that word even applies. It is a dirtbag move on t-mobile's part. They let Jump customers to believe there would be a pre-order path for them/us. Some of us got up at midnight waiting like eager fools. More fools, we. Switching carriers...

Waiting for iPhone 6/6+ pre-order pajama party!

Unfortunately, they are going to eat up the first wave of 6+ phones, keeping them from those of us who know we want them. It is the gold iPhone all over again. Nobody wanted it until it was time to order. Then those of us who wanted one couldn't get it. Everybody is buying the big one. It is the...

Waiting for iPhone 6/6+ pre-order pajama party!

There is not going to be a Jump upgrade preorder for t-mobile. The only way to order it is at full price on a new line. Jump upgrades will only be done in the store when the phone is actually available in store. That is what I waited up all night to discover. It is get in line at the t-mobile...

What's the first thing you'll say to Siri?

Sorry to be so long replying. I am a managing editor at an iOS blog. As you can imagine, things are a bit busy these days. :) I haven't been to see a movie in a couple of months. I used to go quite frequently before that. Siri definitely knows movies. She knows actors, Academy award trivia, and...

What's the first thing you'll say to Siri?

Having been using iOS 6 since the beta, I can tell you that Siri is great with sports. I'm a football fan. I keep up on all the scores and standings with Siri. You're gonna love it.

Official waiting for iPhone 5 pre-order pajama party!

I made the mistake of getting 3hrs. of sleep. I'm tired, cranky, and can't believe I'm doing this yet again... for a phone. Just shoot me. Nevermind the 12 step program. Just shoot me now.

Your thoughts on USING the Retina display?

A tablet is only a touch-sensitive screen. The rest of the hardware, for the most part, is there to support that one thing. The iPad has always had the most fluidly tactile screen. Now, it has the best looking screen to go with it. All that in a package that does not sacrifice performance or...

Pre-Ordered iPad 3 wifi on its way but contemplating LTE

I have been back and forth on the issue. My first iPad 1 was wifi. It was the first to come out. It took 30 days for the 3G version to be available. I sold the wifi only and bought the 3G version as soon as possible. Having persistent connectivity changes the experience, greatly. When the...

    Where are the reviews?

It seems like the last time or two, embargoes were lifted on Wednesday for Friday release. I have been refreshing my RSS reader of choice all day looking for the first reviews. When they start coming in, let's collect them here.

Lets hear it, Siri ! The good , the bad, the ugly .

Another great feature of Siri is that it is essentially free 411. Just ask it for the phone number of any local business, and it will bring up the information. You can even place the call or get directions directly from Siri. Say goodbye to phonebooks. This is a disruptive feature. I love it.

Lets hear it, Siri ! The good , the bad, the ugly .

About Siri... Both my parents are blind and have bought iPhone 4Ss for Siri, as well as VoiceOver. For us, Siri is not a toy or an improvement in productivity, or a status symbol. It is the difference between being able to do certain things on a smartphone and not being able to do them. You...
