nope cant restore even.. it just stops midway

I saw the update for 4.0.2 and updated it.. and it froze 2/3 of the way so I quit itunes and restarted my imac to re do it. Now it says my iPhone is in recovery mode and I am forced to restore my iphone?! This stupid 4.0.2 update just bricked my iphone because it doesnt turn on nor does it...

I have to use ultrasnow when it comes out correct? ... I swear I saw other users here posting that they got their 3GS jailbroken and unlocked on IOS4

I own the a White 3GS absolutely love it! But I gave in and payed an extra $200 bucks for the iPhone 4. Both are great phones. I guess it depends if your the type of person that can wait a year or just throw a couple hundred to satisfy your up to date technology needs.
