After more than 15 years covering everything Apple, it’s with a heavy heart we announce that we will no longer be publishing new content on iMore and the iMore forums will be closing as of November 1st, 2024.
What's pleasing me is how many games already qualify as must-haves. Zelda and Mario Kart are the obvious ones so far, but then there's Splatoon 2, and likely Super Mario Odyssey when it shows up... there'll be no shortage of things to play even if you don't care for third-party titles.
Absolutely. They might have to be picky about some games based on how well-suited they are to the Switch, but I could see this being the way forward once the SNES Classic is discontinued. Play classic games on TV and on the bus.
Nintendo recently announced that there would be yellow Joy-Cons on June 16th. Not sure if they'll come in a system bundle, but I wouldn't be surprised.
If you want to customize the Switch look, go to Colorware. It'll be expensive, but you'll get a Switch painted to your exact specifications...
I'll echo a bit here and say: if you're a regular PC gamer, the Switch is probably your best choice for a console. It'll give you a unique, portable experience that you can't get with Microsoft or Sony.
There aren't many games right now, but Nintendo already has a couple of must-haves for the...
It's because Apple still has to use mobile-optimized flash memory, and current technology limitations prevent you from realistically getting more than 256GB on a chip. That and 1TB of flash storage is very expensive at the moment, at least in a tablet. Would you really want to spend, say...
It's a tough call. The 12.9-inch model is clearly better if you want to use it as a laptop, but the 9.7-inch version is better for most people as a tablet. I'm torn between the two!
I'd suggest the 12-inch MacBook of the two. With that said: you'd probably be fine with a 13-inch MacBook Air unless you really want the 12-inch system's Retina display or ultra-light weight.
The only real things I'd want transposed from the Galaxy S7 are a higher-resolution display (it doesn't even have to be quad HD), the camera and enough battery to handle both. The iPhone 7 is an opportunity for Apple to upgrade all of those.
I'll definitely agree that the S7 hardware is nice...
If you connect your iPad to free Wi-Fi (such as at coffee shops, airports and some hotels) when you're in Canada, you can check email or otherwise do things online without added cost.
If you have an iPad with cellular data, you'll likely have to pay for data you use in Canada when not on Wi-Fi...
You'd want to use it in your lap, that's for sure. The iPad Pro really is closer to a laptop that you can use as a tablet than anything.
I'd personally lean toward getting Apple's Smart Keyboard, but the Logitech Create is good if you don't intend to use the iPad in pure tablet mode very often.
I've been jonesing for an upscale watch for years. Winning an Apple Watch would get me there and put many of my most important tasks right on my wrist. It'd be really appreciated if I won!
