Just noticed the app store icon, geez, don't see the gripe. Also thought Google maps icon was changed. Hasn't happened on my iPhone 7 yet. Still have an older version. No biggie.

If it continuess to annoy, try true caller. It works off a list of know spam callers so likely you'd never get the call to ring thru. That app really works well for me. There are others out there as well that are also good. But, no I cannot recall getting a partial number like you mention.

The only downside I found was the weight. I got the case for free anyway so not using it seemed to agree with me more than using it. I eventually gave it away, paid forward yet again, :)

I've never thought that to be an issue with my battery at all. But as suggested try it both ways and see if you notice any difference. As it is my 7 has the best battery life of just about any phone I've used.
