I hate blinking LED lights. To me they are distracting and unnecessary. If I leave my phone sitting on my desk while I'm away, I simply check it when I get back to see if I have any new messages. I have no need for a blinking light. That's just my preference though.

I just prefer the black one. Same thing on all my electronic devices. I prefer black around the screen vs. silver or white (or any lighter color)

I ordered mine on 10/18 through VZW. Black 64GB. Initially it said expected shipping date of 10/21. Then yesterday it changed to 10/28. But, tonight I got an email saying that it has shipped and will be delivered tomorrow. So, hopefully something like that plays out for everyone else.

Well, in general there will always be a newer, faster, better, etc, etc phone coming out. In the past, Apple has only released 1 new phone per year. This isn't how battery cycles work. A battery cycle is a full charge from 0% to 100%. So, if you were to plug your phone in when it was at 50% and charge it to 100%, that is 1/2 of a cycle. Then, the next day if you did the same thing, that would get you to 1 full cycle. It's basically that the...
