    Competition generally gets better results than monopoly, that's why. If AT&T and other carriers were truly competing for each iPhone customer (rather than just competing for who would sign a monopoly deal with Apple), both network and customer service would be much better.

    455 on itunes but not all installed on iphone. Why? Because the iOS model for finding/launching apps doesn't scale.

    iPad 3G would be interesting if AT&T or someone offered a day by day pre-paid option. With the wide availability of wifi, I would want a 3G ipad only if I can have network access in the few times that wifi isn't available.

    AT&T's service would probably have been better by now had Apple sold the iPhone to more than one carrier at the onset...
