Thanks for all the replies. It was a bug in 10.1 actually. If I turn off "Convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC" everything works again! No longer crashing :)

The ebaspace site worked a treat for me - I had two 'stuck' pixels. It won't sort dead pixels though. Eventually, you'll come to ignore it. I have one right dead centre of the screen but it's out of guarantee. :rolleyes:
