About a week ago, my digital crown seemed hard to move. I was scrolling through something and it just didn't feel right. I thought it was broke. In the course of troubleshooting, I found a work around where I had to put my finger on the serrations just right. Then it got just a little better...

I have a day one model and I don't see any scrapes. I know I've bumped it into a few walls and I've worked on my car a few times while wearing it. I haven't given it a torture test but no complaints so far.

iPhone 6s with new A9 processor, Yum Yum. Other than instant gratification, it "seems" the gen models, 3, 4, 5 were about form, and the "s" models were about function. If the less popular rumor is true that the big screen isn't ready yet, how will that affect my drool for the the s model?

I "think" that I could be happy on a 2 year cycle with the s models. It's just that circumstances put me in the contract eligible upgrade now. I currently have a 5s. If my contract said to wait another year, it wouldn't be a problem to wait for 6s. I guess I'll just get the 6 and sell it...

Historically, the s models have been a significant upgrade. 3GS, 4s, & 5s. The tech in me wants the big iPhone 6 NOW. My brain is telling me to wait for the big iPhone 6s. I don't think that I have the will power to wait. If I did, I wonder how long that would be.

There are plenty of apps that just don't work with iOS8. So far, I have not run across any serious operational issues with the OS. Battery life and other functions seem okay. I think I might put it on my primary iPhone. I did put it on my primary iPad. Depending on what 3rd party you rely on...

Nice to see a fair split between everything new and having new phone/old pad. I always want a new phone, but I can almost never justify it. I got a friend at work with an iPhone 3 Jesus. He uses it to monitor the security cameras in his home, Twitter, Facebook (I think), company email...

Why is it that I "must" have the latest and greatest iPhone, but I can let the iPad get 2 or 3 generations old before I "need" a new one? Rhetorical....Just wondering how people feel about when their devices are outdated.

Re: Regarding tethering.... None of you worms are going to convince each other about the data plans and laws. Furthermore, you have no respect from those not participating in the thread hijacking.

double tapping the home button "should" bring up the keyboard if this happens.

Is it safe to say that most people will get faster speeds than before the update? (regardless what the true technical name for this is) I ask because I am weighing the choices of breaking my jailbreak for faster OTA bandwidth. I previously had a Pre3 on ATT that got H+ and it was pretty fast.
