I tried a while back they wouldn't. I'm unlocking it. It seems like that's what I need to do anyway. Everyone asks. I feel like if it's unlocked I can sell it faster.

Already paid to have it unlocked. Might take a few days so if you're interested and you don't mind waiting it's yours.

Yea I have no clue why these carriers do what they do. In reality it was such a hot item they probably just sent what they had.

1784 is the intel modem vs 1661 which is qualcomm. They were trying to squeeze out extra margin from the GSM phones

If the device is paid for in full they have to unlock it - it's the law. The reason the wouldn't unlock it is because it's not paid off.

I actually know the reason why and it certainly is t what you're proclaiming to know. Regardless it's unlocked. Maybe you could go play in your own post?
