I was on eBay browsing some stuff and I clicked on an item I liked. When the page opened it AUTOMATICALLY downloaded some .TXT files, all own its own. I was a bit confused.. I didn't open the files.. But my folder did show a "FILE PREVIEW" but it didn't show anything. The files were also in KB data size, so they weren't large.. I didn't open them and just deleted them. Somehow today I saw I had received spam on a email that I literally just started around a month ago and I don't even use it. Did my computer get infected? I have Norton Anti virus 360.. I don't understand how this happened and how they downloaded automatically.

I am having a same problem, but I didn't open or visited a site which could download things itself (not sure) but I am receiving spam emails in my email account. I have blocked them but they keep on receiving, I think I have my email account compromised or leaked.
