High Sierra Upgrade on iMac with Fusion Drive - Recommended?

Hello,

I've been holding off on upgrading an iMac with a Fusion Drive to High Sierra. What is the recommendation of the iMore team? Is the new file system supporting Fusion Drives yet?

It sure is. I have a 2015 iMac with 3TB fusion drive and everything is working fine. I upgraded with out any problems.

High Sierra will not automatically upgrade to the new file system APFS on Fusion drives, and Apple recommends staying on HFS+ on Fusion drives (which it will when you upgrade) and using APFS only on SSD and other all flash storage drives for now.

I personally have not tried HS on a Fusion drive with HFS+, but, as noted above, it should run fine.
