Does the New Macbook have some type of water resistance?

I know this is a long shot but does the New Macbook (12 inch) have any type of water resistance? Accidents happen and I just want to know if purchasing the extended warranty was needed?.........I am clumsy

No they are not water resistant. And liquid damage is not covered by AppleCare. My best suggestion is not to have liquids anywhere near it. I just like to be careful.

EXACTLY this! MacBooks are definitely not water resistant.
