I am moving to the Caribbean and wanted to know how the Macbook will hold up in hot/humid weather. I don't want it to get damaged.

Yes it will but don't let it get too hot. When mine got too in SoCal during the hot summer, I get a lot of graphics artefacts on the screen and the only way I could stop them was by letting the laptop sleep for a while.

I found it preferable to avoid direct sunshine on mine but others have found that they can sit by the pool under the sun for hours without issue.
