    Hello, I've recently purchased a macbook 208. The os running is 10.6.8. I tried to upgrade to Maverick but it said I was unable to. I would like to install 10.7. My questions is how much more ram should I buy & Do I meet the requirements to upgrade to 10.7?

    Check the specs on the device for the maximum RAM it can support and buy what it needs...

    I have a MacBook early 2009 model with 4GB RAM. I recommend that you have a minimum of that if you plan on using OS X Mavericks.
