Logitech's webcam software is not working with Big Sur. So while the webcam works, you can't make any adjustments. Anybody found a simple workaround? The ones I found online are very complex and, I don't think, sustainable.

Otherwise, I think we need to find an alternative manufacturer.

    Hello, and welcome to iMore.

Can you be a little more specific on what Logitech software you are referring to? There are a few.

I do know the Capturing software specifically states MacOS 11 (Intel only).

    Thanks.

Thanks. I was looking for the software that will help me control the webcam settings. Logitech Control Center (LCC) - which is what Logitech says to use - isn't compatible with Big Sur.

The Logitech Camera Settings program only works while that app is open. And that means it has to stay open on my desktop at all times. IS there a way to permanently set the camera (contrast, brightness, etc)?

Well, it’s available, but support for some devices have been dropped:

Hopefully someone with Logitech experience will chime in. Unfortunately we’re using all PTZ cameras here.
