Hey so right now I’m using a 13 inch MacBook Pro for school and I’m studying computer science and I’m considering getting a 15” 2018 MacBook Pro for school now mainly because I’m low on storage but I’m just wondering if a 13 inch MBP would still be good enough for this?

The biggest difference I can think of is that the 15" has a higher end than the 13". Other than that it's just personal preference on screen size.

Sorry I forgot to mention my MacBook Pro is from 2014

There are a good deal of programmers / developers in my office and with the exception of using a couple of large monitors, most of them seem to be using a 13” laptop.

Anyway, to answer your question, yes, a 13” MacBook Pro should be sufficient for your needs, in my opinion.

Yeah that’s what I figured it’s just the 15 inch is so enticing to me lol.

I used to love the 15” laptops years back, but now anymore. The portability of the 13” is more important to me these days.

For me the 13" MacBook Pro is perfect. It's really personal preference in my opinion. Now specs would make a difference.

In the past I always chose the 13". But when Apple released the new design I opted for the 15" because of the reduced footprint and weight. I don't think I could go back now as I love the increased size of the screen and to me its still very portable.

I guess it would depend on weight and eyesight. If you're using an external monitor, the 13" would work. I personally would get the 15" just for my eyesight.
