My MacBook Retina died last month. It wasn’t even two years old. HUGE mistake not buying AppleCare. So right after Christmas I began shopping at Apple for a refurbished MacBook Pro 13in. I’ve now bought/returned three MacBooks trying to find the right one within my budget. Bought a 2016, but a 2017 became available. Bought a 2017 with a 256Gb drive, but wanted more space. What I hope will be my final MacBook arrives tomorrow, a 2017 MacBook Pro 13in 3.5ghz i7 16GB RAM 512GB Drive with TouchBar. This will have to be the last one Because I can’t afford the 1TB, the only option left. Heavy sigh.
Buying a MacBook Pro on a budget is a *****. Thank god for refurb or I’d have a far less spec’d out computer.
