I have an old MacBook Pro Laptop Model No A1211 which duals boots to Snow Leopard and Windows 7.
I replaced the hard drive with an SSD about a yar ago.

Everything was working fine until about a week ago when the Windows graphics started to cause the laptop to blue screen.
The Windows driver was found by Windows Update for ATI Mobility Radeon X1600.

Once I default to the basic Windows Standard VGA Graphics Adaptor, the laptop works fine on the Windows side.

The Apple side just gives me a grey screen. Won't boot to anything.

Q1 Anyone know what the proper 32bit windows 7 driver is for this macbook.
Q2 is this a grahics card failing?
Q3 how on earth do I get the Apple OS back up and running?

Q1 I have no idea
Q2 - Possible but I'm thinking it's more the Mac running Windows
Q3 - If you've been doing Time Machine backups on the Mac side, you should be able to restore from one of those backups. Just Google something like "restoring from Time Machine backup".

On another note, since I have to support them at work, I've received a lot of notifications of display issues on Windows 7 and 10 machines in the past few weeks after a Microsoft update. Either rolling back the driver or waiting for the next updates (which was only a few days later) resolved the issue. You might have an update waiting that will resolve the issue on the Windows side.
