Just downloaded the new 11.0 update, but it won't install. Anyone else have this problem, and is there a fix? Thanks for any help.

Connected to power, and charged past 50%? I did the install last night on my Macbook without issue. Was anything else installing with it? Sometimes that can be an issue. I assume you have tried restarting the Mac?

Tried the install with Duplicate Photo Fixer Pro, at the same time. It's all good now. Thanks.

I don't post much in here but High Sierra freed up an additional 16 gigabyte's on my MBP 2014. I only had around 12GB of memory left and now it's at 38GB.

I'm not complaining, but what the hell did it do to get all that space back?

DAMN that's a LOT! Perhaps the new OS just has that much smaller of a footprint AND is better at memory management and it simply freed up some space lost to orphaned files, or caching or such.

Are you talking about iOS or Mac OS? If it’s iOS than what iPhone are you using? iOS 11 as far as I know is just for iPhone 6 and up.
