I got the Kaby Lake. Even though Best Buy had the 2016 model for $400 off I had to get the new one.

ConGats. I was thinking about a clear case as well for my MacBook Pro.

What's the sense of getting the space gray if you put a dark case on it? Clear case all the way. Apple had the incase brand. They put it on for me. It fits and looks fantastic.

Actually I think the dark case would look good on the Space Gray.

I don't have the Space Gray because I decided to get the 2015 MacBook Pro with the iconic lighted  emblem. I posted a photo of my MacBook earlier in this thread.

Yes. A friend of mine has one. I'm still naked for now. I choose to use a custom leather sleeve.

Yes, if I had a Space Gray MacBook I would have gone with a clear case as well regardless of the iconic glowing Apple ().

I recently purchased a refurb 2017 13" MacBook Pro nTB i5 8GB ram and 512 ssd from the Apple site and over the past 13 days I've put it through the paces and I'm regularly almost maxing out the memory with what I normally do. Guess I'm more of a power user than I thought with lots of open tabs. So I returned it to the Apple Store today and reordered online a refurb 2017 13" MacBook Pro nTB i7 16GB ram and 512 ssd. Thankful I still got good deal. Hopefully this one will keep up with me otherwise I'll have to upgrade to the TB version!

I would go to the Apple refurbished store. You should be able to get a good device and you can also get AppleCare on it. You can’t get that anywhere else. Not that I know of.
