I bought a 15" MacBook Pro 2016 with touch bar and I'm wondering about battery maintenance. Do I treat it just like my iPhone and charge it every night, even if it's only at like 80%? Do I top it off whenever I get the chance or do I let the battery drain down low before charging?

Thanks for any help/advice on this matter.

It's up to you how you'd like to charge your MacBook. Apple's only recommendation is that you charge the battery to 50% if you're going to store it for a long period of time.

What i do for my battery is, keep the laptop on charge when I'm using it and when i I'm finished, i take it off charge and shut it down. Its never left over night on charge. I still get around 3 - 4 hours of use even after owning it for 5 years. So i think I've treated my battery well :)

Also, i never allow my battery to go below 20%. Like to keep it above that percentage.
