I use mine mostly for controlling brightness and volume. It's really nice to use the slider over pressing buttons though. I use it to scrub through video as well.
    It sure is!
    It looks great too.

    I ended up getting a 2016 model:
    MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016)
Processor 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7
    Memory 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
    Graphics
    Radeon Pro 460 4096 MB
Intel HD Graphics 530 1536 MB

And I got it for $500 less than the 2017 Cadillac model.

Now I just gotta figure out how to post images that aren't 90 degrees rotated.

Thanks. I've been using Windows for way too long.

Hope you like it. I could of gotten the 2016 15” model for about $400 less than what I paid but I went with the 2017 anyway.

Is it good idea to upgrade macbook pro (2013) to the newest one? I'm worried about the count of ports (only usb type-c...). Maybe some one has such experience with the upgrading?

Is your 2013 model still suiting your needs? If that’s the case then I’d stick with it. Hopefully Apple will realize that they made a mistake not including any type A USB ports on this year’s models and takes a step back next year.

Mostly I'm happy, but my model has 8gb RAM, it's not enough for my daily basis for today, when you need to run a lot of programs. Maybe in 2018 Apple will introduce some updates of macbook pro. I hope..

It seems like my sibling might upgrade from her 2012 rMBP to the new MBP with TB.
I would love to upgrade, but I can’t afford it yet.
