Why isn't my emails body displayed?

Mail Body not displaying

During the night, my MAcBook Pro ran down the battery whilst asleep. The following morning I had to charge it before using it. Now the body of my mails aren't displaying, the .me or goole ones. The App Store doesn't load, just the spinning icon top left.

I've tried rebuilding the in box, deleted files in the library as suggested but nothing.

If you're using the native Mail app, delete the account(s), and then re-configure it/them.
