    Has anyone had any issues in connecting a WD My Passport Ultra (mine is 2 TB) to your MacBook Pro. Unless it is connecting from the time I boot up, it takes more than a few minutes to be recognized.

    I have a couple - one for TimeMachine backups and one for offline storage. Both seem to connect a load quickly - a matter of a few seconds.
