Hello! I am going to be purchasing the 13 inch Macbook Pro very soon and I am not sure what upgrades are most important when considering RAM or the flash storage or the processor. The differences are slight (besides the RAM possibly doubling) so I wasn't sure what was most important.
I am a college student, so I will be using this for school. I am also a marketing major so I am not sure if I will be designing anything in the future.
My main question is if I were to go with the $1499 model and upgrade for $200 for a 16GB space, would this be better than going with the $1799 model that has less storage but better flash? I would be spending the same amount when it came down to it... but I wasn't sure if I would be better off with the 8GB $1799 model over the 16GB (+$200) in the $1499 model.
I have it narrowed down to:
13-inch: 2.6GHz with Retina display***
Specifications:
*2.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5***
Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz
8GB 1600MHz memory
*256GB PCIe-based flash storage****
$1,499.00
or
13-inch: 2.8GHz***
with Retina display
Specifications
*2.8GHz dual-core Intel Core i5***
Turbo Boost up to 3.3GHz
8GB 1600MHz memory
*512GB PCIe-based flash storage****
$1,799.00
Thank you!
