Please post opinions, pros or cons...

Currently, we are using an older model iMac 20" 2009 with 2.66 GHz Intel core 2 duo, 4GB memory, 1TB storage for our mobile DJ business.
We have tons of unused storage, and it really has been working quite well.
We are just looking to upgrade and get something a little lighter to travel with.

The new computer would just be for music for the most part. 11,000 songs or more. Maybe Karaoke. Using iTunes.

    iMac 21.5 fusion storage or
MacBook Pro retina 15" 8GB, 512 storage, the lower GHz quad core processor. Leaning toward the notebook for convenience.
    Ideas, accessories?

You can't wrong with the MacBook in my opinion. I don't DJ but I do studio production on a iMac. For portability the MacBook Pro is it. It must be rough carrying a iMac from gig to gig.

It seems that you answered your own question in your description of what you were looking for in a replacement...
