I couldn't resist the $200 off at Best Buy so I finally took the plunge and bought a MacBook Pro! Just wanted to share my excitement lol, if anyone has any tips or must haves please feel free to share!

I'm a huge fan of the trackpad on my MacBook but I missed that familiar click sound of the mouse .. this might sound silly, I know.. but I love this app called "Did I Click" that makes a little click sound and a visual cue on-screen when you tap the trackpad.

Congrats!!..... I have had mine for about 3 weeks now and love it. I have the 13" Macbook Pro (non-retina) and am amazed by it everyday. Its blazing fast and right out of the box it is a dream machine. My personal favorite apps are Twitter, Evernote & I really like using Google Chrome as my browser as well.

I'm trying to make up my mind on buying a pro or air, not sure which one yet, but I'm leaning towards the pro from what I've read. Congrats on your purchase!

TY! Best Buy has them on sale right now, for everything I use my laptop for the air would suffice but I really wanted a built in disk drive lol.

I had a HP dv7 that took a crapper and when I replaced it I bought a windows 8 HP envy sleekbook that lasted about a day because I couldn't even deal with that mess of an OS. I was considering a base model mini to get used to the Mac OS (it was confusing to me when I would use my friends, which was the reason I stuck with windows for so long) but at that time long story short my Mom almost died and was in the hospital for months so a computer wasn't really on my list of priorities lol. So basically I had been doing all of my internet/email usage from my mini for the last 4-5 months. It actually worked just fine for my needs but when I saw these on sale I couldn't resist. I couldn't be happier, idk if the current OS is easier to use than previous versions because the issues I would have on friends I haven't really had a problem with. I think I will sign up for the get to know your mac thing they have at the Apple stores so I can really see what it can do.

I understand and share your excitement as I also bought myself a rMBP from best buy 2 days ago! I'm amazed. Coming from a 5 year old HP dm3 I love it!!

I picked up the Macbook Pro Retina, well actually traded my 2013 Air, (Gotta love long exchange period for reward members) ... This computer never stops amazing me, I hope that you find the same pleasure as well.
