I would like to use my old MacBook Air (Late 2008) as a second monitor for my current MacBook Air (Early 2014).
Can I just use a USB cable?

I’ve not known anyone to use a MacBook as a second monitor and I’m not sure if it can be done. I suppose if AirPlay is compatible with both devices then you may be able to do it. Anyway, if it is indeed possible then I hope someone who knows how to do will respond soon.
