Macbook Air 2015 lost Wifi - tried to format it, still no WiFi. BT is fine though.

Can I post question about my MBA 2015 here?

Lost Wifi out of nowhere.

After following every guide, and no results, decided to format the device.

Still no wifi.

Bluetooth works.

Tried to replace the WiFi card with a tested-working one. Still did not work.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Did anything happen to the device before the problem exhibited? Did it drop, or otherwise suffer physical damage? Was it exposed to moisture? Did you do any repair work on it requiring you to open the device? Have you tried Apple Diagnostic?

It sounds like a logic board issue, if switching the WiFi card didn't work.

I suppose that a workaround is to get a USB WiFi adapter? Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Adapt...mUvbUpU3194054
Excellent suggestion! And with that model MBA there IS a USB A port so you won't need a dongle.

Two USB-A ports, so you will still have one open if you use the other for the WiFi adapter.
