I originally thought my Mac wouldn't boot up because it needed to be charged, however even after connecting it to a power source & charging for about 10 hours, I still have a blank screen. When I press the on-off button (upper right corner on keyboard) I only hear the music tone indicating that it's turning on or off, but I see nothing on the screen.

What's going on? What can I do? This MacBook Air is only 6 months old and I rarely use it.

    Please help. Thanks

Have you checked your brightness setting?

If it's only "6 months old," you should contact Apple. Every Mac comes with a one-year limited warranty.

Press the brightness level keys near the top of the keyboard. You may or may not need to also press the Fn key. If you're certain that you checked everything, don't hesitate to make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store.
