I bought a Macbook Air from abroad, I don't have the proof of purchase can I still get Apple Care for it?

Bought a Macbook air from abroad

My dad bought a macbook from china, but he doesn't have proof of purchase date, if i went to the store would i still be able to get apple care for it or not?

Take it to an Apple store and see if they can pull up the information by serial number.

It's possible, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Anyway, give Apple a call or take it to the nearest Apple Store and ask.

You should be able to check the serial online on their website and see if it is eligible from there.
