How much hours did you get initially and how much are you getting now, after 3 or 4 years of purchase of you MacBook Air?

Thank you for asking this....I'm thinking of going all Apple and leaving PCs behind and this will be an interesting read.

I believe Apple's standard for their batteries is that they keep 80% or more of their capacity at 1000 charge cycles.

The Irony here is that, I'm asking this after going all Apple, leaving behind my windows, Linux PCs, Android Phone and Tablet.

I too had the same idea, but, anyhow would be comfortable getting a first hand note from actually experiencing users.

I don't know the hours but I've had my rMBP for about two years and it reports that the battery is at 92% health.

Karenkcoulter - its probably worthwhile telling folks (okay, me) how to generate a battery health report.

 on menubar then About this Mac, then System Report. The select Power. You'll see something like this:
    Attachment 72230

I don't think that there is much difference in the battery dropdown of a 3-4 year old MacBook. As I have a MacBook 3 years to complete, I dont find much difference in its battery dropdown. It now shows that the battery is at 85% health.
