Why is my Macbook Pro squealing?

I have an older MacBook Pro that is squealing when I start a video with sound. You can hear the video, but the squealing is loud and doesn't stop until about 30 seconds after closing the browser. It doesn't change with adjusting screen brightness or volume.

Could be the fans spinning up when the MBP is working harder.

Since you mentioned “browser”, does it do the same thing with videos that are actually on the device, if applicable?

I downloaded and opened a youtube video with QuickTime and it did the same thing.
