I have setup my computer for Auto Dark mode, I find is nice to have the light mode during the day, and dark mode at night, but I find that it switches to dark mode too late, here in Montreal, days are getting shorter and soon it will be dark at 5pm, so is there a way you know off, how to set that start time for dark mode?

Don’t know, but a simple way could be to set it to Atlantic time zone or even one more zone east.

Ok, I've been sleuthing around trying to find a solution. Try this: Apple Menu > System Preferences > Displays

Once you're in Displays, click Nightshift tab and then custom to set your preferred schedule.

Thanks Annie_8plus, I actually did try yesterday by changing both the Nightshift start time as well as the Do not Disturb start time settings and neither affected the Dark mode start time, it is still happening at 8:30 pm, I think it is hardcoded, it might come as an option in a later patch. In the mean time I will switch to dark mode manually. Regards all.
