If I didn't need to confine the guts of my mid-2011 Mini in the original case, what sorts of modifications could one make?

I currently have a pair of 1 TB SSDs in it, and 16 GB RAM. Is there a way, sanctioned or not, to upgrade the processor and/or the graphics "card"?

    Thank you.

Now could you be so kind and pose your question in layman’s terms?

Is there still milk in the crate?

Sounds to me like you’re trying to figure out how to upgrade your 2011 Mac Mini. The problem is those things are built like notebooks with very little ability to upgrade.

But as @Just_Me_D already stated, a clearer explanation (perhaps less poetic with more detail on what you’re trying to accomplish) would be extremely helpful.
