New to Macs, my Mac Mini periodically wakes to look for a Bluetooth keyboard from sleep. I'm using a USB wireless keyboard and have the dongle unplugged when I put the computer to sleep. Is there anyway to stop the Mac from looking for the keyboard and waking while it is asleep?
Try not doing that and see what happens...
I'd find a way to keep that keyboard dongle plugged in, maybe a usb hub
Thanks, I've tried that and it does seem to work ok. I'm not sure if the mouse is completely off or not though. Just gives me an excuse to get an keyboard, already hooked on using the trackpad instead of the mouse.
