A friend of mine just bought a used early 2009 Mini. The problem is that it will not "find" his wi-fi network. I don't know if it is user error, or if the Mini is defective. Any suggestions?

Does it show a wifi address in settings? Does it show it's connected, but is not picking the signal up?

It shows nothing under "available networks".

If all else fails, consult his ISP.

I am thinking that the Wi-Fi portion of that Mini has gone bad.
