    Maybe it's just me... but why is it that as soon as I create an alias of an Excel-file, that alias is written-protected?
    (while the original file is still 100% accessible)

    And the strange thing is... this doesn't happen with every Excel alias.
    Some alias files are perfectly accessible, so this only happens with some of them.
    But why?? I don't approach any of them differently, as far as I know.
