I think about getting a Macbook (the 12"). I'm an occasional vlogger (a movie every couple of weeks at most), and now use Windows Movie Maker on Win 7. It's okayish, but I'd like to know how does iMovie compare to that? Is it a better alternative? Is there anything better than iMovie? I'm not a pro, I shoot my videos with an iPhone and they aren't usually longer than 10-15 minutes.

I admit I say WMM is okayish because I may just not know anything else.

iMovie should be fine for what you're doing... but if you want to go to the next level - FinalCutPro...
