Following restart, OS X version shows incorrect unread post count - sometimes by as much as seven thousand articles. Emails and tweets to the app support go unanswered. Is anyone else seeing this behavior?

Clicking on one of the sections in the left hand column, then clicking on the UNREAD header seems to fix the display - until the next restart and/or system reboot.

Did you try clearing your cache?
Or you should make sure your not archiving your RSS articles.

I use reeder, but with feedbin, not feedly.

The only cache setting that I can find in Preferences is for images, not articles.

Preferences > accounts > keep read items > 1 day or never, should clear it up.

    Good luck

I'll change it and see what happens. It was set to 3 days, but I was seeing things from last JUNE (10 months ago) - see the screenshot above.

No. Every time I restart the app (or restart my rMBP), the unread count comes back. I set the Keep Read Items to never and to 1 day. I could live with it, but the strange part is that when I scroll through the articles with the keyboard, it starts with the oldest articles - with thousands of articles, I never get to the new stuff.

It's an annoyance, but nothing to go postal over, I guess. Thanks for trying to help.

    Your very welcome.
You could try deleting your feedly account and then adding it again.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
