iPhoto and auto split

Hey all,

I am new to Mac as I just went from a PC to MBA. I love it so far, but iPhoto frustrates me. I'm used to windows folders and picture viewer. I am getting the hang of iPhoto but when I import files, it makes a new title for each photo. I have changed the auto split setting to one new event per week and still same thing. Any ideas?

I'm very new to iPhoto and could use any pointers.

I'll have to have a look at that. The only thing I don't like about the folders in finder is you can't look at a picture like in windows. You double click on it and it opens but you can scroll through them.
