    Audio as in creating music?
    If so Garage Band. On a deeper level Logic Pro or Pro Tools.

    Leaning more towards podcasts but useful for recording music is appreciated as well

    I know folks that use Garage Band for recording podcast.
    Also there is a app called Audacity that some use.
